Certification introduction

The "Telecom Equipment Compulsory Testing and Certification Act" issued by the TEC India Telecom Engineering Center will start from October 1, 2019. All telecommunications products, as long as they are produced, imported, distributed or sold in the Indian market, need to pass TEC certification.

The relationship between TEC certification, BIS certification and WPC certification

TEC: It is the Telecommunication Engineering Center of India. The full name is Telecoummunicateon Engineering Center.

BIS: It is the Indian Bureau of Standards, the full name of The Bureau of Indian Standards, BIS certification and control safety regulations.

WPC: It is an organization that regulates wireless regulations in India. The full name is Wireless Planning and Coordination Wing, and WPC certification controls radio products.

TEC certification is divided into Interface Approval and Type Approval 2 types.
